A new development project under My Metric Trade — giving every trader, from beginner to professional, the ability to simulate, test, and optimise their strategies against live market conditions before committing real capital.
Trading strategies are only as good as the conditions they have been tested in. Until now, most retail traders have relied on historical backtesting with static data, or learned through costly live experience. The Real-Time Algorithmic Trading Simulator changes that by providing a simulation engine that works with live market data — not approximations of it.
The simulator integrates directly with the My Metric Trade platform, extending the existing no-code strategy builder with a dedicated simulation environment. Users can run strategies in real-time market conditions, observe outcomes, and iterate — without any risk to their actual portfolios. The expected result is a professional-grade simulation layer accessible to traders of all experience levels: a tool that closes the gap between institutional testing infrastructure and what everyday traders have previously been able to access.

Project funding
This project is supported by Enterprise Estonia and co-funded by the European Union. Development commenced on 1 April 2026.
The project covers the development of a Real-Time Algorithmic Trading Simulator as a significant enhancement to the My Metric Trade platform — enabling real-time strategy simulation, automated parameter optimisation, and risk-free strategy testing for traders of all experience levels.
